I invested! time and money (which I didn't have much of at the time) into developing my business skills.

No, really. I’ve helped women like you carve their path, take charge of their finances, and build their bank accounts by positioning their prices to reflect the value of their services instead of giving cash-draining discounts.

In 2005, I became a Licensed Esthetician. Filled with enthusiasm and passion, I set out to rent a room and open my own skincare studio. But, despite how damn good I was and providing an excellent guest experience, something was missing. You see, I bought into the hype of, “If you build it, they will come.” I quickly realized that it didn't matter how good I was if no one else knew it.

I learned that having a dream and knowing I was good wasn’t enough, I needed business expertise in order to have a sustainable spa business. So, I did one of the most vulnerable things you can do as an entrepreneur:

Before I knew it, I had a few impressive titles under my belt, including Spa Director, National Trainer for Dr. Murad, Post Graduate Instructor for Dermalogica & The International Dermal Institute, Account Executive for PCA SKIN, and Business Consultant for several multi-million dollar brands.

Then, in 2018, I took the leap, said goodbye to corporate life, and went full-time with The Spa Profit to equip you with the business skills you need to bring your big vision to life. Now, I'm giving independent spa owners like you access to everything I learned about building a sustainable and profitable business. (without burnout).

I read every book and took classes on business, marketing and sales while managing and working at various spas. This was my hustle season.

Conceptualized and opened a storefront medical spa. (little did I know this was the start of my business consulting days)

Post-Graduate Instructor For International Derma Institute & Dermalogical
PLUS I opened another medical spa for a client (all my business training is paying off!)

Business Consultant for several multi-million dollar brands and opened my 3rd medical spa for a client!

2018

Quit my corporate job and decided that it was time for me to serve my community and pay it forward.

Aficionado - Self proclaimed coffee aficionado over here. Check out my IG Lives and 8 times out of 10 there’s a cup in my hand.

Brat - As in Army Brat. I moved around a lot during my childhood and truly believe “Home is not a place…it’s a feeling.” My love for exploring different cultures, cuisines and ability to quickly connect with people of various backgrounds is likely why I’ve never met a stranger.

Cooking - This is one of my favorite things to do. I’ll put my music on blast (to set the tone) and whip up a good (pescatarian) meal for my family and friends. My secret ingredient is love, it’s part of every single dish I serve.

Fur Mom - I have 2 fur babies. My dog 🐶 Stella, who I rescued on her last day before they were going to put her down, and she’s the absolute sweetest. My cat 🐱 Chance has been known to make a cameo appearance in my videos as he seems to always know when I’m recording and feels that’s the best time to walk across my desk 😂😂😂.

Globe-Trotter - I absolutely live for travel! ✈️🌎✈️. But not as a tourist. I want to live like a local and immerse myself into the culture. “When in Rome , Do as the Romans Do”

Holistic Wellness - It’s all about self-care. You must invest in your physical, emotional, mental AND financial health. As someone diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, I advocate normalizing mental health

Intuition - This is my 'soul sense'. It's this sensitivity to energy that helps me care for the people around me. Too often I reach out to people at the “right time” and seem to always know what to say.

Jay-Z - People are often shocked to find that he’s one of my favorite artists (and business mentor). I'll have his music on blast whether I’m cooking, working out, or just need to get into hustle mode so I can tackle all the tasks that being a fempreneur calls for.

Life’s simple pleasures - I live by the mantra: a simple life is a stress-free life. Honestly, that’s what going into business for myself is all about for me.

Nature-Lover - I’m a big nature lover. Long walks, hiking, a day at the lake, or going to the park with my coziest blanket and my journal—I’m always inspired by mother nature.
